DWI Motorist Charged After Crash Kills Bicyclist

A man driving while intoxicated has been arrested and faces multiple charges after allegedly hitting and killing a bicyclist.

Silvio Tenesaca, 49, of Kent was driving in the area of Route 52 and Palmer Trail in Kent around 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 27 when he allegedly hit and killed the victim, 53-year-old George T. Rosalino of Lake Carmel, who was riding a bicycle.

Tenesaca faces multiple charges, including:

  • Vehicular manslaughter, a class D felony
  • Leaving the scene of an accident, a class D felony
  • Driving while intoxicated and other traffic violations

Tenesaca was arraigned in the Town of Kent and taken to Putnam County Correctional Facility in lieu of $50,000 bail/$100,000 bond. His court date is still pending.
